"I guess I come from a small place and quite frankly I'm just not used to the scrutiny that I guess comes with the job... I'm a little bit more of a country boy than I am a city boy."
-- State Sen. Randy White, D-Webster, to the Charleston Daily Mail, about sideswiping a car Jan. 30, while in Charleston for the legislative session, and then leaving the scene.

The only thing goofier than that statement is that if came from a 52 year old man...
Anybody know which party he'd been to earlier in the evening?
Leaving the scene and waiting until the next day will make a difference in a field sobriety test, don't ya think?
It was probably a paint-by-numbers party.
The best part is how he claims to have been preparing tax forms. It's almost like he's winking at us. If only he claimed he was filling out TPS report cover sheets.
I don't know any country boys that would let another man paint his ass.
I think Sen. White is still oblivious to the fact that he's a PUBLIC servant, and with that comes PUBLIC scrutiny.
