I noticed Gary Abernathy making up the numbers on the deaths and posted this. Great charts. Out of curiosity, did you see my post first or did you see Abernathy's and recognize his post didn't pass the smell test?
Interesting how you blast Gary Abernathy's honesty. I followed a link from his site to see these numbers. The gist of what he was saying still is right looking at this.
The difference is that under George W. Bush our troops are out engaging the enemy. Under Bill Clinton all too often they were sitting and waiting to be attacked. Their deaths went unavenged until the Bush presidency.
Stephen,
Carnacki is referring to Abernathy's post on Tuesday, which boldly claimed "Did you know there were more military deaths under Clinton than under Bush?". A claim which these graphs clearly proves is false.
Jim,
I fear something being true or false doesn't matter much to that shrinking minority of people who still support the Iraq war.
My follow up post here.
