DaughterGate Makes Another Splash

The New York Times now delves into the questions surrounding the EMBA degree awarded Mylan executive and Manchin daughter Heather Bresch, reporting that "the inquiry has mushroomed into a controversy that risks casting a shadow of cronyism over this state’s flagship university:"

Ms. Bresch has insisted that she earned her degree, and university officials have blamed a failure to transfer records for nearly half of her course work to the appropriate office for the situation, as documents were moved to electronic format from paper. But so far, the university and Ms. Bresch have not produced copies of her transcripts, receipts or other proof of her having paid for course work, or documents from the courses where grades seemed to have been entered years after “incompletes” were given.

You know this has got to be one of the most embarassing events in the history of the state!
Obviously EVERYBODY involved knew about this...I mean, how can you just forget that you got a degree half way through your post-graduate work? To make such a claim is insulting...
I want to laugh and puke at the same time!
For all the state residents who tried and failed for various reasons to get post grad degrees, to hear about this, and the school's response -- is an affront to us all!
If the gov. daughter's employer just wanted to give her a job for whatever reason that's fine and dandy, but if the school invented a degee for her then they're no different than some school you see advertising late at night on tv.
Alarmist Entertainment would rather get a DUI or something than be someone who passes themselves as having earned a degree they didn't.
