So he'll begin turning down any federal money sent to West Virginia over the amount paid by WV citizens and companies?
No, like any good Democrat, he'll take the cash and spend it.
Crack loose the States Piggy Bank, and fix some shit.
Build some jails = Construction Jobs in our State and Make them use our steel.
Fix Some Roads = Private contractors to work
We are in a position with the States money to create our own WV Stimulus Package

Hmmmm...let me get this...WV has the 2nd highest per capita (Puerto Rico 1st place) of citizens receiving government benefits...and no one receives handouts? To paraphrase the former president William Jefferson Clinton, I guess it asks what the definition of "handouts" is. Sorrifully, WV state government, primarily the legislature, has a 70+ year history of maladministration...The future does not look as bright as the current office holders would have you believe...they love to claim we have a multimillion dollar surplus...one of five states...hogwash...They are cookin' the books!!! Unfunded liabilities with regards to state obligated pensions are in unfunded to the tune of several billion dollars...That's with a "B"!!! With the oldest per capita population, and young workers leaving this state, where do the simpleton's running this state believe the revenue to fund basic programs will come from? The future was grim even before the current economic situation. Either programs will have to be drastically reduced...or taxes increased on the elderly and retirees!!! Taxin' smokes is...no pun intended..."a pipe dream." Someone needs to speak the truth with WV citizens. You can't spend your way to prosperity... there is no free lunch!
The statement is, in fact, true, but members of the governors party have been elected for decades by promising the very handouts he's now decrying. The "stimulus" bill is mostly a collection of such handouts.
Someone beat me to it but yeah...I was about to say something about his daughter. lol. Wow. He's krapping where he eats, again.
