Most likely better off, as all the government largesse has made our state dependent on the "fix" of federal dollars...and created several generations of citizenry incapable of independent thought or action.
We deride the banks , federal home mortgage institutions, Wall Street financiers and others for their greed and incompetence...What of the 70 year history of West Virginia Democratic party political incompetence and failed leadership which has brought us to this state?
Senator Fanning...of prosperous McDowell County no less...what an insufferable and inflated opinion he has of self!
